Shipping

All orders are posted via Royal Mail from Crieff, Scotland.
UK orders are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 or Tracked 24, depending on weight and value. Most orders arrive within 2–4 working days.
International orders are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked. Delivery times vary by destination- typically 5–10 working days for Europe and 7–14 working days for the rest of the world.
Import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout. Royal Mail handles customs fees upfront, so you won’t receive a surprise bill on delivery. The price you pay at checkout is the price you pay- no hidden charges.

Returns & Exchanges

I want you to be happy with your order. If something isn’t right, please get in touch within 14 days of receiving your parcel and I’ll do my best to help.
Yarn and fibre can be returned unused and in original condition for a refund or exchange. Please contact me before posting anything back so I can confirm the return address and advise on postage.
Digital patterns are non-refundable, as they are delivered electronically. If you have trouble downloading or accessing a pattern, please get in touch and I’ll sort it out.
Palette sets and shawl sets are made to order or curated as one-off combinations. Returns are accepted if the set is unused and in its original condition, but please note these are limited editions and may not be replaceable.

Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect. Refunds are processed once the return is received and inspected.

Customs & International Orders

Highland Magic ships worldwide. Because Royal Mail collects import duties and taxes at the point of sale, international customers pay all fees upfront during checkout. This means no unexpected customs charges or collection fees when your parcel arrives.
If your country isn’t listed in the currency selector, orders will be processed in GBP (£) and your bank will convert at their current exchange rate.

Care Instructions

Wool and wool-blend yarns: Hand wash gently in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent. Do not agitate, wring, or tumble dry. Lay flat to dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Naturally dyed yarns are lightfast to normal indoor use, but prolonged direct sunlight may shift tones over time- this is a characteristic of botanical colour, not a flaw.
Finished knitted or crocheted items: Follow the same hand wash guidance above. Store folded rather than hung to avoid stretching.
Hand-carded batts and fibre: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep in a breathable bag or container- avoid airtight plastic for long-term storage, as natural fibres need to breathe.
