Pocket Loom Weaving Kit

A small Scottish fibre adventure in a box.

Make a small woven work with a Pocket Loom Kit, prepared in the Highland Magic studio with traceable Scottish fibre and a vivid, naturally dyed rainbow of handspun yarn.

Each kit includes:
• Laser-cut wooden bookmark loom
• Wooden weaving tools
• Aluminium weaving needle
• Pre-cut warp and starter yarn
• Handspun Scottish silk/wool blend, naturally dyed in a rainbow gradient
• Texture pack with Scottish wool and handspun yarn, including BFL and Scottish angora mohair
• Printed Weaving Your Way guide

Because the kit contains handspun and naturally dyed fibre, the exact colour mix and texture pack will vary slightly. That variation is part of what makes each kit individual.

What you can make
The 20 × 7 cm bookmark loom has an approximately 15–16 × 5 cm usable weaving area. It is ideal for a bookmark or a small long woven panel, and usually takes around 2–3 hours to weave.

Add the larger loom
The optional 30 × 15 cm larger loom has an approximately 24–25 × 13 cm usable weaving area. Use it to make square or rectangular panels for patching together, wall hangings and mini tapestries. Allow around 5–7 hours for a larger weaving.
